Christopher D. Saye
Christopher has a diverse background and in-depth experience in the oil industry covering strategy, trading, finance, accounting, and corporate governance. He began his professional career in Houston, Texas with Arthur Andersen's oil and gas division prior to moving to Russia in 1992. He subsequently lived and worked in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan prior to returning to Texas in 2007 and founding Caddo. He was most recently based in Moscow, Russia where he served on the boards and acted as shareholder representative for Glencore's investment in Russneft, a Russian oil company with production of over 250,000 bbls/day (12.5 mln tons/year). He previously worked as a vice president at a major Russian industrial holding company and was also a partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen specializing in audit/consulting in the oil and gas industry. He is fluent in Russian and is a citizen of the United States of America.
Neel L. Duncan
Neel is an entrepreneur with a diverse background and in-depth experience in oil and gas field development, operations and international venture management. He began his professional career as a petroleum engineer with Mobil Oil Company in 1986. He moved to Russia in 1993 with Anderman/Smith Overseas as a core member of the team that established the first Russian/American oil joint venture, Chernogorskoye, where he served as general director in 1999. He subsequently served as general director for a Gazprom joint venture in Astrakhan and as the Gas Business Unit Leader for TNK-BP in Moscow where he was responsible for the Rospan gas development project and for Health, Safety and Environmental issues for TNK-BP's Upstream division. Neel speaks Russian and is a citizen of the United States of America.
Dr. Alexander Sokolov
Alexander is a geologist who has been an independent geological consultant since founding the Siberian Geological Company in 1995. He began his professional career in 1984 with Urengoineftegazgeologia as a well log analyst where he continued work on his Ph.D. in geology. After earning his Ph.D. in 1990, Alexander headed the reserves evaluation department for Meggionneftegaz (now part of TNK-BP), and in 1992 became leader of exploration drilling for the Siberian Oil Company. Since becoming an independent consultant in 1995, Alexander has been a co-founder of three successful E&P independents where he remains engaged in a non-executive capacity. He has authored over 25 publications and has served as a co director of the of State Institute for Geology and Development of Combustible Minerals. Alexander was born in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and is a citizen of the Russian Federation.
John Kroshus John is a Professional Engineer with 27 years of Canadian and International oilfield experience focusing on development and operations management. His most recent successes have been the completion of a Russian Heavy Oil Pilot Project, the development planning and remediation of a brownfield gas project and the accelerated development of a 130MM boe field in the Russian Arctic. Other successes include the accelerated development of a 100MM boe Kazakh oilfield, optimization of a Siberian oilfield resulting in the additional production of 1.3MM bbls of oil and the underbalanced horizontal drilling of a highly permeable sour zone in Western Canada. John holds Canadian citizenship, lives in Russia and is a fluent Russian speaker.
